SUPER STINKY SKIMMATE

brad is making gag noises as he's pouring it down the drain...  heh!

ADD TO CART: XMAS WRASSE + BLUE JAW TRIGGER + CHROMIS + CROCEA

our mini maxima kicked the bucket so i picked up a new rainbow crocea to fill the void. also picked up 6 chromis + a hawaiian blue jaw trigger + a hawaiian xmas wrasse. blue jaw's name is mr. soda popinsky. we named xmas wrasse clarice, after buddy the xmas elf's gf, but i like the silence of the lamb reference better. the chromis don't have names + we appear to have lost on already since i only counted 5 the last couple of days. meh!

OUR FIRST ACRO CRAB!

we ordered an sps colony (2"x3") from liveaquaria.com + it came w/ an acro crab. from what i've been reading from chuck's addiction they have a symbiotic relationship w/ the coral the host so i'm looking forward to seeing this symbiosis myself.

WE'RE GIVING THE BRIGHTWELL LINE (+VSV) A WHIRL

hopefully, they'll increase the overall color + kill off the excess nitrates/algae that's plaguing our coral! more info on the VSV method: http://glassbox-design.com/2008/achieved-through-observation-and-experimentation

FULLY SUBMERSIBLE MINI HEATERS x3

now we can do bigger water changes w/out having the coral + fish going into shock from a drop in tempreture!
